This is a gorgeous print of this rare, obscure film.  Oscar is a talented elephant with a mind that many humans could envy and a heart that appears to be made of pure gold.  He is constantly protecting and rescuing pretty Ruth Lorrimore (played by MADGE BELLAMY) from the abusive ways of her miserly stepfather, the owner of a traveling circus.  Taking Oscar with her, Ruth flees her cruel stepfather's circus and runs headlong into romance, drama, and adventure!  Also featuring CULLEN LANDIS and NOAH BEERY, SR.  Approx. 76 minutes, B&W.
